So I have a question for you,

Why no Jewish music, XM did it last year as a stream and from what I read
will do it once again this year..
Why does this world always cater to the "Christmas" holiday season.
I am sure there are many sub's that would love to listen to our type of
music during the holidays.
I am very disappointed once again in Sirius's choice to ignore a whole
section of religion music.

Here is another reason to leave Sirius, Bubba is leaving, lost the NHL, lost
Air America, and now once again we get the slide with music.

Does anybody know if I can get a free sub for theses days to listen in on XM
music even if a steam.
Can I do a 1 month sub for online listening?

Thanks,

Happy Holidays to all

Because Christianity is the religion of the majority, and religion is
innately oppressive. When you think you have a mandate from God, you're
not open to other opinions.

lost the NHL
Yawn.

lost Air America
Air America lost itself. Nobody listens, whether on satellite or
terrestrial radio.

I'm listening to Steph Miller on WCPT/Chicago (via internet) right now.
She's not "Air America" but the station is. They just began upgrading
their facilities because nobody listens and there is no demand.

So... you're not listening to an Air America program. And your point is...?

Checking Wikipedia against AA's own web site suggests that AA has lost
3 terrestrial affiliates in the past month alone.

When given a halfway decent signal and a little support the genre does
OK. It beats sports talk or Salem in many cities.

Just because you have no idea who Bubba is - by the way Howard 101 after
noon show doesn't mean people don't listen, NHL and AA boring to you, it
does not reflect other peoples reason for listening to programming.
I guess by ur statements your a FOX person, you seem so closed minded in
your thoughts.

As far as the Holiday music, why does XM offer it? There is some sort of
need to fill the void.

Have a great make believe X-mas holiday- Who ever said Jesus was born on Dec
25? the bible is a work of non-facts, no proof 50% of it was real, its just
stories passed down and then it was written down. How can a bible be written
and then years later be rewritten with additions and a whole new group of
people.

No need to reply these are just my personal thoughts just as your were to my
question...

That is definitely the hoped-for reaction. They're overdoing it, though--
I hear lots of grumbling about Christmas music playing on stores' PA
systems.

You're right. My post yesterday was mean and I apologize. Satellite radio
is supposed to offer enough choices that people can have their niches.
I hate the fact that Sirius takes away 3 channels for Christmas music even
thought I don't listen to 2 of them. They should put on as much holiday
music as people want, on separate channels so that other people aren't
bothered by it.

Based on your assumptions, though, I'd say you have no right to toss the
term 'closed-minded' at others.

Air America, and Prgressive radio in general, is holding its own.
What's on Sirius doesn't reflect any trends. It is programmed for one
person, Walter Sabo. An he has terrible taste in radio.

There are 2 delightful Xmas streams at Soma FM. They are even available
in low bandwidth mono, perfect for background music.
