Its unbelievable how bad Sirius Tech support is. They really have no
understanding of computers and the streaming portion of the service.
And If you ask someone to speak to manager they hang up on you. This
is some of the worst support Ive ever experienced. Im not sure how XM
radio is, however, be wary of Sirius if you need to call. Check the
website there is no way to give feedback on the service or to the
management. So they are saying take it or leave it and the mangement
cares little how bad it could be.

I called tech support today to find out why in the hell my reception
has sucked for the past week. The idiot said that it was due to my
radio, they would send me a new radio for free.

Now the real story: I know a person that builds Sirius receivers at
the Michigan branch of Sirius, it is an update issue in this persons
opinion (again from a person who designs and builds receivers I would
think could make such a statement). The radio I am getting for "Free"
will cost shipping and activation, a total of $22.75. Oh and new...
nope reconditioned. I asked as flat out as I could if the "new" radio
would have as good as a FM transmitter as the one I have now, the
answer: Better! A flat out lie as the FCC made Sirius turn down the
heat on the transmitters, no longer can you broadcast to half the
block with your dash mounted receiver.

Did I mention that the house kit I have with my receiver is now
worthless and that I have to spend more money to listen in the house?

Yea, my year subscription is up this month, I think I will call and
cancel and just wait till the merger and get XM.
