4 hours and counting .... no Terrestrial XM signal at all.

I usually have 4 or 5 bars of Satellite signal, but today
it is 1 or 2 bars, and then only by fiddling with the an-
tenna.

I'm in California, so something is happening with both
the sky and ground-wave signals.

From XM Fan.com this info, attributed to Orbitcast:

UPDATE : An XM Spokesman has provided this statement regarding the issue:

"We are experiencing a temporary degraded performance issue, which has
affected some of our customers. We expect to return to normal service levels
this evening."

OK..one more time.....here is WHY its happening....

The UPLINK sends program to the East coast Sat (XM#3). This satellite feeds
EVERY land based repeater PERIOD!
Satellite XM#4 is NORMAL.
ALL repeaters leave the air when they do not get program thru the East
satellite, hence your "No Signal" indication.

When they uplink to XM#3 the entire network of repeaters will return to full
service.

The "Something" is the uplink to XM#3...simple eh :)

This was a *SCHEDULED* upgrade, set for 11;55AM washington DC time. This was
