What's the best and least expensive source of commerical-free Internet
radio?

I use Itunes, but most of the stations have commercials.

I heard that Sirius and XM Satellite Radio are providers and I looked
briefly at their Web sites.

Thanks, Samson, for the recommendations!

Pandora.com isn't available to me because I'm not in the U.S. The
Pandora Web site informed me that my I.P. address is in Canada -- not the
U.S. -- and that therefore I'm disqualified from becoming a customer.

Is live365.com is a legitimate, trustworth company?

The Web site advertises a free, five-day trial, but when you click on
the sequence of links to membership forms and and take the time to type
in your customer information to register as a member, you find out that
you only get the free trial if you first pay them for at least three
months of membership.

That seems devious, because the ad doesn't say you have to become a
member to get the free trial.

I haven't logged on in a while, not since I've been listening
to Pandora. But there used to be a lot of free feeds for
music.

If you are in Canada, how about Iceberg Radio:

Thanks a lot, The Tramp!

I've just skimmed the surface of Icebergradio.com, but so far I'm very
happy with your recommendation!

The music has been very good and there hasn't been a single, annoying
commercial or prattling deejay!

I hope this site isn't infiltrated with commercials and prattling
deejays, the way that the Itunes stations are increasingly being
infiltrated and watered down.

I don't know what kind of a tramp you are (dictionary definitions for
tramp: a: vagrant b: foot traveler c: a woman of loose morals ;
specifically : prostitute) but you've been very helpful!

They are commercial free, true. But that just gives them more time to pack
in the same old shitty songs that made you want to go to different mediums
in the first place. The merger doesn't matter, satellite radio is dead
because it isn't new, just a rehash of commercial radio, that you have to
pay for.
