I've had factory installed Xm in my car for several years and I'm hooked.
Since I retired I don't drive daily and would like to cancel my car
subscription and convert to a portable unit I could use in my vehicle and
plug into my ancient Pioneer 4-channel receiver. My car radio has an
auxillary input. Looking for suggestions for a portable to fit my retired
lifestyle.

Subscribers to XM Radio can listen to it on their computer, if
that helps. See:

I unlocked my account on line, and have an online account. If it
was preinstalled in a car, you may not have an on line xm account,
but should be able to get one by contacting them.

I had one of these and I thought it was a great radio:

How does the antennae work when your inside, outside, in the car? It looks
liek it will do everything I need depending on the antennae setup.

It come with a home kit, that includes an antenna you put in a window.

I live in an area with good terrestrial repeater coverage, so I often got by
with the radio's built-in antenna, but you can probably connect it to the
antenna you have in your car for your old radio.
