Change in Reception from "Old" Sportster to "New"?

I have a Sirius Sportster Rewind that I bought three years ago when
Howard Stern first started on Sirius.
The recption is "OK".
My wife has Sirius in her new Honda that came built in, and the
reception is perfect.

I was just wondering if anyone has any actual direct experience with
going from the older model satellite radio like the original Sportster
Rewind to the newer ones, like the Sportster 5.

Is there an improvement?
