Channel 12 Super Shuffle renamed Sirius 12
Super Shuffle has been removed from radios. You have to get it from the web
site now. One less reason to keep a radio.

Planet Jazz has been gone since September. One of the biggest downgrades to
Sirius' programming since I've been a subscriber.

Preparing for the big merger ? :-?
I expected downgrades _after_ the merger.

Planet Jazz has been gone since September. One of the biggest downgrades to
Sirius' programming since I've been a subscriber.
I'm still mourning the loss of the XM Music Lab channel.

I subscribe to XM and Sirius.

Good for you. Guess you need it so you can stay on topic..or did your
remark have anything to do with the subject line?

Threads have been known to mutate. I was responding to Kimba's
statement that Planet Jazz was gone since last September.

Are you the on-topic security guard here?

The Bridge is back? It irks me that have pre-empted it
so many times for so long.

Yes, I'm old.

Some strangeness is going on with my radio regarding this.

The FAQ on the Sirius site yesterday said to tune to channel 175 to
determine if your radio is capable of receiving the new play by play
sports block that was part of these changes.
After the update was pushed down yesterday, I tuned to 175, and could
hear audio on the channel as per the FAQ. However the on screen
display said "Program Not Available". I wondered if everything was
working correctly, so I e-mailed Sirius support and asked them if I
had a problem. This morning they support team replied and said that
channel 175 DID NOT EXIST! I wrote back and told him that they must
have missed the memo.

This morning when I turned my radio on (06/25/08), a second update was
pushed down. After the update completed, I again tuned to channel
175, and my radio indicated "Invalid Channel". I went back to the
Sirius site and looked at the FAQ again, and all information about
tuning to channel #175 to check radio compatibility was removed. I
notice that the XM site has a play by play block, with a channel 175,
hmmm...

Did someone screw up and jump the gun on something?

After searching the web, I did find a posting of the original FAQ that
I saw on the site on 06/24/08. Here is a link ....
