The other day Zig Fracassi, the NHL guy on Sirius, was on Ferrall's show
on Howard 101 and they were talking about how Sirius' contract is up
with the NHL and how the games are moving over to XM. That's a drag,
since I don't subscribe to XM. Baseball & hockey on XM, football &
basketball on Sirius. I'm torn now, because I subscribed to Sirius for
Howard Stern. It was pretty sweet that I could listen to my favorite
sport, hockey, and catch all the games. But now, my two favorite sports
are on XM so it's like the powers that be are screwing me! I hope that
merger goes through. It'd be worth it for the sports. Other than that,
I'm content with Sirius.

Oh, that just makes it worse! It's like the NHL wants to make it harder
to follow hockey! First they move the games onto Versus which I can't
get unless I buy fancypants digital cable, and now they make NHL
exclusive to the satellite radio company I don't have service on. Maybe
it's a conspiracy against ME PERSONALLY. :) Maybe I'll get both
services. Although I already have three Sirius radios... it would suck
to have to buy new equipment.

I thought XM only picked up the NHL in 2005, while Sirius has had the NHL
for longer...
