"HD signal wreaks havoc with analog radio"

"If you're having trouble lately pulling in a good signal from your
favorite radio station, it's not just that your radio dates from
Marconi's heyday. Radio signal interference has become a big problem
in Metro Detroit since the advent of HD (high definition)
broadcasting."

Bad link. Try:

Actually, the article comes off as a sales pitch for Half-assed Digital
radio. The interference problems from the I Block Other Channels system
are well known, but what is rarely said is how poorly the digital signals
travel. Getting a digital radio will likely NOT improve reception,
contrary to what the article states, because at any location beyond
eyesight of the transmitter the radio will likely fall back to analog
anyway.

And I almost overlooked the egregious error of calling HD radio "high
definition". How can a radio columnist not know the basic terminology?
